BINGHAMTON, NY -- The Binghamton University Alumni Travel Program is offering a tour of China, May 26-Jun. 10, 2013. Open to the public, this trip will feature a number of China’s most
well-known historical sites.

Faculty host John Chaffee, distinguished service professor of history and Asian and Asian American Studies at Binghamton University, will guide travelers on an extensive tour, starting with Shanghai’s Jade Buddha Temple and ending with an excursion to the Great Wall of China. Private meetings with noted arts patrons, teachers and artists will provide unique perspectives on China’s rich history.

The trip will cost $4,299 per person, based on double occupancy, and includes round-trip airfare, lodging, most meals, internal flights, train tickets and a farewell banquet. A $500 deposit is due upon registration. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
