BINGHAMTON, NY – Binghamton University Student Association has announced two large-scale concerts for November. Grammy award-winning DJ and producer Afrojack, with opening act Quintino, will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Events Center. Also, Rapper, actor and comedian Childish Gambino, with opening act Logic, will perform on at 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 in the West Gym. Doors for both concerts open at 7 p.m. These events are open to the public.
Afrojack will be performing at Binghamton as part of his 2012 United States tour, “Jacked,” which has had multiple sold-out showings. The DJ came to fame in 2011 with his platinum hit, “Take Over Control,” and has since worked with David Guetta and written and produced hit songs for pop artists around the world.
Childish Gambino released his debut album, “Camp,” in 2011. He has performed at the Bonnaroo Music Festival, on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” and was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award for his song, “Heartbeat.” Gambino is also known as a cast member on the NBC show, “Community,” and for his work as a writer on NBC’s “30 Rock.”

Advance tickets for the Afrojack concert: Binghamton University students, $22; public $35 (plus facility fees) and the Childish Gambino concert: $15 for Binghamton University students; public $25 (plus facility fees).
