BINGHAMTON, NY -- Binghamton University will hold an “Instant Decision Day” for Broome Community College (BCC) students from 10 a.m.– 3 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, in BCC’s Office of Counseling Services, located in Suite 210 of the Student Services Building.

Admissions counselors will be on hand to meet with BCC students who seek to transfer to Binghamton University in Fall 2013 and major in the arts, sciences, engineering or human development. Counselors will meet one-on-one with all applicants to determine admission to Binghamton. Eligible applicants are those who have successfully completed 45 credits and have an anticipated grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  Students should bring official, sealed transcripts from previous colleges attended, and BCC will provide official transcripts for students. Approximately 1,000 of all entering students at Binghamton are transfers with more than half coming from two-year schools, including Broome Community College.
