BINGHAMTON, NY -- The SUNY Business and Education Cooperative of the Southern Tier (SUNY BEST) will host a presentation, titled “Binghamton Global Business Alliance: Partnerships in an International Market,” at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 7, in room LN 1324C of the Continuing Education and Outreach Department on the Binghamton University campus. This presentation is free and open to the public.
The Binghamton Global Business Alliance aims to stimulate the regional economy by creating jobs and expanding support and training for members who want to increase their global business development capabilities.
Speaker Stephen Day, Associate Broker/Owner of McKinney Real Estate, will introduce the concept of a Global Business Alliance to the regional community and provide examples of how this concept has successfully strengthened regional economies elsewhere in the United States. He will also seek support for promoting International Partnerships through Educational Forums and Business Relationships, building upon global and multicultural forces experienced within the United States.
Day has focused on the international aspect of Real Estate, earning designations including CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), GRU (Graduate Realtor Institute), and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist). He served on the Greater Binghamton Board of Realtors, and is currently the NYS President-Elect for CRS. Prior to Real Estate, Steve served as a teacher, principal, and school superintendent. He brought the International Baccalaureate to Vestal Central Schools in 1998 and coordinated the Rotary International Student Exchange program for Vestal from 2006-2010. He has been involved in the Binghamton Friendship Force since 2010 and currently has strong connections in the United Kingdom, France and Germany.
