BINGHAMTON, NY – Binghamton University’s Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Partnerships will hold Healthcare Innovation Days on Monday, April 29, and Tuesday, April 30. The event will be held in the Engineering and Science building at the Innovative Technologies Complex, located at 85 Murray Hill Road, Vestal.
Free and open to the public, Healthcare Innovation Days will feature panels, lectures and poster sessions from 12:30 to 6 p.m. April 29 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 30.
Affordable, quality healthcare is one of the major “grand challenges” facing our country and the world. Binghamton University has designated healthcare as a transdisciplinary area of excellence for its research and scholarship and is making major investments in faculty and facilities to be able to make advances in this complex and multilayered field.
Healthcare Innovation Days provides an opportunity to contribute to the conversation. Speakers and panelists from academia, industry and government as well as medical professionals will explore areas in which partnerships involving cutting-edge research and development can lead to meaningful advances in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, systems and services.
This event is held in conjunction with the Binghamton Biomedical Research Group and the Center of Excellence in Small Systems Integration and Packaging.
