Binghamton University’s Public Archaeology Facility (PAF) will host “Touring Binghamton’s Past,” a guided walking tour that will highlight Binghamton’s archaeological heritage, from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 4. This tour, held in conjunction with the First Friday Art Walk, will cover over 5,000 years of Native American and Euro American settlements, near the confluence of the Chenango and Susquehanna rivers.

Using PAF’s 25-plus years of research within the city, this web-based Smartphone tour of downtown Binghamton will begin at 6:15 p.m. in the lobby of the University’s Downtown Center, at 67 Washington St. and will return at 7:30 p.m. to this same location.

Digital presentations of archaeological research in Binghamton, a permanent exhibition of artifacts and commemorative heritage installations will be on display within the Downtown Center’s lobby.
