BINGHAMTON, NY – Binghamton Enactus, a University student-led organization that seeks to use entrepreneurial action to solve needs in the community, will host the third annual Art Safari, at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, in downtown Binghamton.
This event, which is free and open to the public, will start at Twin River Commons at 45 Washington St. where attendees will be provided with an Art Safari map to local art galleries. Once participants have visited every location on the map, the map can be turned in as an entry to a raffle for prizes.
Enactus hopes to use the Art Safari as a means to encourage students, parents and community members to explore the city and art scene in downtown Binghamton.
The event is sponsored by Communikey, Twin River Commons, the City of Binghamton and Enactus’ CLEAN Campaign, a project which aims to assist downtown Binghamton. For more information, e-mail enactus@binghamtonsa.org.
