BINGHAMTON, NY -- A discussion titled, "Social Media Marketing Made Simple" will be the topic of the next Binghamton University Small Business Development Center’s Women Business Owners (WBO) roundtable, at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 222 Water St., Binghamton.
Tom Brown, guest speaker and founder of Media Barker, will provide participants with a basic overview of essential strategies and best practices. His experience includes 20+ years working with online marketing, project planning, management, communications and PR techniques.
The seminar will cover topics such as the importance of social media marketing and various social media networks and tools. Attendees will learn how other businesses are using these low-cost tools to gain visibility, develop relationships, and drive sales and engagement. Barker will also discuss how to incorporate social media marketing into business life without losing productivity and gain real-world insight and knowledge to enable success within a business or organization.
The roundtable costs $10 per person, payable at the door and includes a continental breakfast. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards and brochures to share.
