BINGHAMTON, NY-- Students, faculty and staff at Binghamton University will celebrate Earth Day 2014 with a zero waste festival from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Friday, April 25, in the Peace Quad in front of the Couper Administration Building on campus.

The event, free and open to the public, will include food, a sculpture presentation and various environmental activities. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities at student group tables and demonstrations.

A host of activities will be offered throughout the day including recycling races, seed planting activities, a small-scale alpaca farm and exhibits from the Binghamton Zoo.
