BINGHAMTON, NY – Binghamton University’s College of Community and Public Affairs will host "Care Management Summit 2014: Achieving Excellence," May 22-23, at the University Downtown Center, 67 Washington St., Binghamton.

The summit is a professional networking event that will offer transdisciplinary conversations and active learning. The first of its kind in central New York, it will focus on the specialties of care and case management and is designed to provide the concepts, networking opportunities and up-to-date information needed to practice care and case management in today’s evolving environment.

The two-day event will include a variety of workshops and conferences, as well as talks from over 20 regional, state and national speakers. Featured speakers include Dr. Patricia Bomba, nationally recognized palliative care and end-of-life expert, and Esther Greenhouse, nationally recognized environmental gerontologist. Over 35 presenters will be in attendance, including Sheila K. Stevens, a member of Binghamton University’s Class of 1996 and program director of wellness coach training for the Mayo Clinic.
