Keynote speaker Kevin Maney, a Newsweek columnist, will deliver his "Anticipating the Future….Just Enough" talk at 1 p.m.

In addition to the plenary and keynote speeches, the day will include presentations organized by Binghamton faculty members participating in the University’s Transdisciplinary Areas of Excellence. Topics will address the future of healthcare, smart energy and the environment, just to name a few.

Innovation Day 2015 will conclude with two panel discussions on education. The first panel, at 2 p.m., will feature current undergraduates musing on what college may look like in 2065.
