BINGHAMTON, NY -- Students, faculty and staff at Binghamton University will celebrate Earth Day 2015 with a zero waste festival from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Friday, April 24, in the Peace Quad, in front of the Couper Administration Building, on campus.
The event, free and open to the public, will include food, a recycling race and various environmental activities. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities at student group tables and demonstrations.
A host of activities will be offered throughout the day, including seed-planting activities, a vermiculture compost display and exhibits from the Binghamton Zoo.
