BINGHAMTON, NY – The return of students to the Binghamton community kicks off this year with the 22nd Annual University Fest, to be held from 11-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29. The event welcomes visitors and the campus community to the Binghamton University Peace Quad to celebrate the beginning of the new academic year.

The festival will include carnival rides, vendor booths, a children’s play area, poster sales, food, student organization tables and music from local bands. Local vendors will be on hand showcasing the best Binghamton has to offer. The Annual Dog Parade will be held at 3 p.m.; this year’s theme is Su-Paw Heroes.

University Fest is sponsored by Campus Activities, Sodexo and Visions Credit Union.
