BINGHAMTON, NY-- Students, faculty and staff at Binghamton University will celebrate Earth Day 2016 with a zero waste festival from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Friday, April 22, in the Peace Quad, in front of the Couper Administration Building, on campus. The event is free and open to the public.
A host of activities will be offered throughout the day, including seed planting activities, recycling races and exhibits from the Binghamton Zoo. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities at student group tables and demonstrations. Food will also be offered.
Metered parking is available in front of the Peace Quad or at the campus parking garage.
