BINGHAMTON, NY -- Marion Nestle, author of Soda Politics: Taking on Big Soda (and Winning)," will host a talk and book signing at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at the Binghamton University Downtown Center, 67 Washington Street, Binghamton. This event is free and open to the public.
Nestle has been featured in NPR, PBS and The New York Times. She is a renowned nutritionist scholar and author of numerous books, including Food Politics: How the Food Industry Influences Nutrition and Health. Her research explores how the food and beverage industries use marketing to influence nutrition, health and public policy decisions.
Laura Bronstein, dean of Binghamton University’s College of Community and Public Affairs, will moderate.
