BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton University SUNY Business and Education Cooperative of the Southern Tier (SUNY BEST) will host an event featuring an interactive panel of professionals at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, in room 220 of the Binghamton University Downtown Center, 67 Washington St., Binghamton. This event is free and open to the public.

SUNY BEST, for several years, has brought together community residents, regional and national experts to discuss various topics related to business and economic development and community wellness in an effort to stimulate community conversations and community action. This program is intended to engage community members and SUNY BEST participants in an idea-generation session leading to identification and selection of several community project ideas that may be implemented immediately. Outcomes from this program are intended to build upon the growing momentum and sense of optimism within the Greater Binghamton area.  

Refreshments will be at 9:30 a.m. and the presentation will begin at 10 a.m.

There will be directional signage to the meeting room from Washington Street. Free parking will be available on the south side of Susquehanna Street, behind the Floyd L. Maines Memorial Arena, as well as at the covered meters on Washington and Susquehanna Streets surrounding the Downtown Center.
