Marilyn Gaddis Rose Excellence Award in Translation

Marilyn Gaddis Rose Fund
Marilyn Gaddis Rose established this Fund with gifts contributed since December 5, 1996 to provide general teaching support for annual graduate stipend support, called the Marilyn Gaddis Rose Assistantship in Translation Studies. The fund does not currently provide enough support to fund a full annual graduate assistantship, and the University is no longer able to supplement the Fund. For these reasons, this Endowment represents a high fundraising priority. (Account #20603)
Historically, the Fund provided Teaching Assistantships to TRIP graduate students. One hope we have going forward is to use the fund to provide one Dissertation Year Fellowship (DYF) stipend annually to one or two TRIP doctoral students, as the Program does not have a separate allocation to offer a DYF to our students.
- Our goal is to raise $100,000 by 2028
