The Binghamton University Graduate School Costs and Funding webpage provides information about tuition and fees for graduate nursing programs.
Other Expenses
Students in Decker's graduate nursing programs should expect to incur costs for additional items related to clinical practice (see below). These costs are in addition to the standard University tuition and fees.
Financial Assistance
Information about graduate financial aid is provided on the Graduate School financial aid and funding webpage.
Enrolled nursing students may be eligible for special aid programs, including loans and local grants. In addition, Decker offers a limited number of scholarships (see below) with specific eligibility criteria, including merit and/or residency requirements. There are also University-wide and national scholarships that we encourage students to apply for.

Other Funding Opportunities
The following briefly describe funding opportunities available to graduate nursing
students.
Teaching and graduate assistantships
Teaching assistantship (TA) and graduate assistantship (GA) positions require 16–20 hours of service weekly for the Decker School. Responsibilities generally include clinical laboratory support in undergraduate nursing courses or supporting the school's grant and research activities. In return, they provide a tuition scholarship and stipend. Full-time study is required. Interested students should respond to a Google form that is disseminated via the graduate student listserv in the spring semester.
Traineeships/fellowships
Traineeship and fellowship positions do not require service to the Decker School. They typically provide a tuition scholarship and stipend. Full-time study is required.
Other assistantships
Other offices and programs at Binghamton University may have graduate assistantships available. All provide tuition scholarships and stipends and require service to the office or program awarding the assistantship.
Loans/work-study
Loans and a graduate student work-study program are available to graduate nursing students. Awards from these sources depend on demonstrated need as noted on the financial aid form filed with the University's Financial Aid Office. For information, call the Financial Aid Office at 607–777–2428.
Loan money from the Skelly Foundation is available for DNP students. To learn more, email Decker College's Division of Advising and Academic Excellence at decker@binghamton.edu or 607-777-4954.
