Background
Tina Caswell joined Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences in September 2021. She is the director of clinical education in the Speech-Language Pathology Division and a clinical associate professor in the college's School of Rehabilitation Sciences.
Caswell has 14 years of experience in academia. Previously, she held a position at Ithaca College, where she taught both graduate and undergraduate students and supervised graduate speech-language pathology clinicians. She has actively participated in research during her career, presenting at more than 40 regional, national and international conferences.
Caswell’s expertise is in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Her clinical experience includes a private practice, where she provided services to children with complex communication needs (CCN) and their families in Broome and Tioga counties.
