The Ralph Digman Prize is awarded to the academically most outstanding senior Earth
Sciences major.
The Glenn G. Bartle Class of '52 Award is made to an outstanding graduating senior
in Geological Sciences who best emulates Glenn Bartle's ideal of academic excellence
and service to the department.
The Herman Roberson Memorial Award is made to a graduating outstanding Environmental
Studies senior who has completed the Environmental Law class
The Helen and Wendelin Bernhard Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students majoring
in Geological Sciences based on academic merit and financial need.
The Donald R. Coates Geology Scholarship is awarded to a Earth Sciences major who
has a dedication and persistence for earth surface processes.
The H. Richard Naslund Geology Undergraduate Field Study Scholarship (apply here) is awarded to undergraduate Binghamton University Earth Sciences Majors who plan
to attend a Field Study Program.
The Roux Scholarship in Geology is awarded to a second year Master of Science student
to foster excellence in the field of geological sciences.
The Dr. Marie Morisawa Memorial Scholarship is made in honor of Professor Morisawa
who was a longtime member of the department and championed women in geoscience, especially
those with interests in geomorphology.
