Internship Opportunities
The Environmental Studies Committee strongly urges upperclassmen to take part in an internship, in coordination with their academic advisor and/or a member of our faculty. The Environmental Studies Program has collected internship opportunities that allow students to use their academic training in a real world environment.
Please note: Students who wish to participate in an internship and who have previously been convicted of a felony are advised that they will be asked about their prior criminal history. This may impede the student's ability to participate in certain internships. Students who have concerns about such matters, or are looking for additional information, are advised to contact the Harpur College Dean's office.
Applications for most of these internships are done through the Career Development Center Professional Internship program, particularly their Natural/Environmental Resources listings, or see the program advisor Joyce for more information on internships.
