From assisting with the event, to speaking at the event, to being a student director, there are many opportunities to get involved with TEDxBinghamtonUniversity!
Volunteers: 2021 application currently closed
TEDxBinghamtonUniversity volunteers help make the events possible, from marketing to day-of production assistance. The event this year will be on Sunday, March 27th 2022. We will be accepting volunteers on a rolling basis, and the application closes February 16th. Any undergraduate or graduate student interested in becoming a volunteer can submit their information to our volunteer form.
Student Director:
TEDxBinghamtonUniversity Director applications are open to Binghamton University undergraduate students. Being a director is an opportunity to learn about organizing large scale events and develop skills in event planning, marketing, project management, community outreach, fundraising, and more. This is a two-semester commitment for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022.
APPLICATIONS ARE DUE FRIDAY, 4/16/2021 BY 11:59 P.M.
We will be holding online interviews between 4/26/2021 and 5/3/2021.

Our March 2021 conference, TEDxBinghamtonUniversity: For Future Reference will feature
multiple student speakers for the first time ever! Do you have an idea and think others
should hear it? Then TEDxBinghamtonUniversity wants you to apply to speak at our spring
conference. Our student speaker applications are open now through 11:59 p.m. on Jan 3, 2021.

Calling all graphic designers, animators, and artists!
TEDxBinghamtonUniversity is looking for a graphic designer to create our 2021 event animated logo, static logo, program, and advertisements based around our theme: For Future Reference. The TEDxBinghamtonUniversity team describes the theme in these words: “Students will shape the future, and their ideas will be looked back on as markers of a time in which innovation and inspiration were essential.”
