Student Life

A successful and enjoyable graduate career entails more than just academics. Binghamton provides many opportunities for when you need to take time away from your academic studies.

Clubs and Organizations

  • The Graduate Student Organization (GSO) represents all graduate students on campus, ensuring that graduate student needs are met. The GSO offers services such as research travel and conference funding, and sponsors a variety of social and cultural sub-organizations on campus. The GSO also provides support and connection through several socio-cultural and multicultural groups. Check out some of our 150+ student organizations.
  • There are many international student organizations such as the Indian Graduate Student Organization, the Graduate African Student Organization and the Latin American Student Organization.

Dining

Binghamton offers a wide variety of dining options to suit everyone’s needs on campus. With more than 25 dining locations on campus open from 7 a.m.–1 a.m., you can find vegetarian, vegan, kosher, Halal, allergen-free, local and sustainable options — and everything in between. The city of Binghamton offers a variety of local restaurants and cafes.
