Get involved

There are many different ways to get involved in the Binghamton University community. As a student, getting involved in campus clubs, sports, and events will be vital to your continued success at Binghamton University. We encourage you to explore the resources and organizations listed below and connect with the greater Binghamton University community!

Campus Resources

  • B-Engaged: B-Engaged is an online platform that features a comprehensive list of activities on campus and information on campus clubs/organizations. Visit the ISSS B-Engaged page to see our upcoming events!
  • The Center for Civic Engagement: The Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) works with communities within and beyond Binghamton University's campus to provide rewarding and meaningful opportunities for students to engage with the campus and community.
  • Campus Recreation: Campus Recreation (Campus Rec) offers exercise classes, intramural sports, access to a fitness center as well as a swimming pool, and many other activities and programs. Your recreation fee provides you access to the Rec Center for open recreation activities. A fitness membership gets you into the FitSpace fitness center and group fitness classes. Visit the Campus Recreation website for more information.
  • International Student Organizations: There are also several International Student Organizations that assist newly-admitted students, lend help and support for current students, and provide the opportunity to learn about different cultures.

ISSS Programs for New Students

Throughout the year, ISSS sponsors a variety of programs for our students. We encourage you to participate in as many as possible. You will find them informative, interesting, and a lot of fun! It’s a wonderful way to broaden your exposure to U.S. culture and add to your understanding of your temporary “home”. There are opportunities for other groups and organizations to collaborate with ISSS on programs. Visit our Programs webpage and 'Like' our Facebook and Instagram pages for additional program information and updates.
