Background
Jo Anne Potter, MBA, HRSA grant administrative assistant, is a business professional with extensive results providing operational excellence by utilizing innovative thinking and knowledge of business practices and procedures to establish strategic relationships for diverse business environments.
For several decades Jo Anne worked in a For Profit environment but over the last several years realigned her professional career to a Non-For-Profit business. This move has provided the opportunity to become involved with the latest Decker School of Nursing’s acquisition of a $2.8M grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HRSA) Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (ANEW) program to provide financial support for graduate nursing students, with the goal to increase the number of advanced-practice nurses trained as primary-care providers in rural and underserved areas. Both professionally and socially equipped and strategic in positioning years of experience that will deliver on the key ANEW objectives for bringing changes in healthcare for people throughout our community.
