Working at the Libraries
Thank you for your interest in employment at Binghamton University Libraries. This
page provides information about faculty, staff, student, and intern positions.
Please Note: Due to the recent announcements surrounding the steps being taken to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus on our campuses, we are not currently recruiting for faculty and staff positions.
Binghamton University Libraries is a collaborative environment that offers great opportunities for growth, and we encourage you to consider joining our team! Find out more about being a part of the Binghamton University community at https://www.binghamton.edu/about/at-a-glance.html or view the campus tour below.
UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, POSITIONS ARE FOR UNDERGRADUATES AND REQUIRE FEDERAL WORK STUDY FUNDING.
Students provide essential assistance in all departments of the Libraries. Recognizing the value of student employees, the Libraries provide competitive wages and opportunities for annual increases based on job performance.
Online applications go directly to supervisors who are individually responsible for hiring their own students. We regret that due to the number of inquiries we receive it is not possible for us to contact every applicant directly. Check this page frequently to see if the position you applied for has been filled.
Note: Students should be aware that if their Work Study funding runs out, it may be possible to work additional hours, but it is the responsibility of the student to find out whether their Work Study allocation for future semesters might be affected.
If you are unsure whether or not you are eligible for financial aid you should visit the Financial Aid Office or go to the Financial Aid Office Webpage.
