Jillian Sandy (she/her) joined Binghamton University Libraries in spring 2022. In prior roles, she has worked in academic, public and special libraries including at SUNY Corning Community College, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the University of Dayton and the Dayton Metro Library system’s bookmobile. She primarily teaches library information literacy sessions for first-year writing courses, maintains the Libraries' collections on women, gender and sexuality studies, and collaborates with campus partners on events and programs. Her research focuses on teaching information literacy, hosting impactful outreach events and approaching library work with an ethic of care. Ask about her cats!
