We assist new students and families with the transition to Binghamton University. New Student Programs is within the division of Student Affairs.
New Student Programs supports the process of acclimating all entering students and their families to life at Binghamton through student-centered, comprehensive programs that serve as the cornerstone on which academic success and positive social transitions are built.
Orientation
The Orientation program for all new students at Binghamton University is your chance to learn firsthand about the many opportunities available to you at the University.

First Year Experience
We offer 2-credit seminar courses for first semester first-year students with a blended course format, team-taught by a faculty member and a professional staff member.
