Lauren Morris (she/her) earned her bachelor's degree at Hartwick College in Studio Art followed by her Masters in the Art of Teaching from Bethany College, West Virginia. Through her graduate studies and professional career, Lauren has gained experience in supporting students and has been certified as a Success Coach. Lauren strives to  create a supportive environment where students feel empowered and thrive through their academic journey. Lauren supervises the Peer Success Coaches and is excited to assist with the program's growth. While away from her desk, Lauren enjoys spending time with her dog Mo'ka & King, taking care of her houseplants, playing volleyball with friends and making art in her home studio.

Hello, my name is Thomas, a current junior at Binghamton. I'm studying Financial Economics with a minor in accounting, with the intention to attend law school in a few years. During my free time I enjoy traveling, running, and spending time with my friends. As a success coach, it is my job to help students as much as I can. Primarily, I help students achieve their goals throughout the semester by assisting their time management and organization skills, however I can also direct students to other resources if needed.

Some fun facts about me: I’m a peer mentor for the First-year Research Immersion (FRI) program, I work/volunteer as an EMT, I’ve been dancing ballet since I was three years old, I love to sing, and I’m a black belt in Tang Soo Do martial arts! In my free time, I like to hang out with friends and watch tv shows. I’m looking forward to meeting you!

Hi! I'm Ari Cozzarelli. I'm a junior studying Biological Anthropology and Archaeology. I am also hoping to continue into the 4+1 program for Biomedical Anthropology and Archaeology. This year, I've finally been able to start getting some hands-on experience in the field, and I love it! When not studying, you can often find me hanging out with the Equestrian team (I'm the Vice President), hiking, or playing with my cat. I am involved in various organizations on campus; Paradox, Fujianese Student Union, and Imagination Craft Works. Carly Miller (she/her) earned a degree in Sociology with a minor in psychology from SUNY Cortland. A few years later, she graduated from Binghamton University’s Master of Science in Student Affairs program. She worked as an academic advisor in Decker College for two years, before joining the Success Coaching team in the fall of 2023. Through her experiences during her graduate program and as an academic advisor, Carly has gained extensive knowledge about how to best support students working toward their academic, professional, and personal goals. She aims to create a comfortable environment for students where they feel free to ask questions and express their concerns. When she is out of the office, Carly enjoys hiking with friends, gardening, and spending time with her cats.

Hello! My name is Gayathri and I am a senior majoring in Integrative Neuroscience with a minor in Digital and Data Studies. I am originally from Westchester. As a student in Binghamton, I have been a research assistant in a biofilm lab for the past two years. Additionally, I am a Residential Life student employee working as a Student Support Assistant. During my freetime, I really enjoy Indian classical dancing, singing, and running. Working as a peer success coach has been such a pleasure! I look forward to meeting with new students to help them understand the core issues that they may face with time management/organization, and then providing personalized advice that can be used to become a better student!

Patrick Talvi (he/him) earned his Bachelor's degree at Marist College in Psychology. Soon after, he received his Master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Binghamton University. Before Success Coaching, Patrick spent 4 years as an academic advisor in Watson College here at Binghamton. He is passionate about helping students create healthy academic goals and supporting them throughout their journey. When he is not working, Patrick spends his time visiting friends and family, playing video games, and cuddling with his two cats, Shadow and Sunny.
