Background

Alexandra Rola, PharmD, received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Michigan. Following graduation, she completed one year of general post-graduate residency training at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital and a second year specializing in psychiatric pharmacy at the Bruce W Carter VA in Miami, Florida.

Rola joined the Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in August 2024 as a clinical assistant professor in psychiatry within the Department of Pharmacy Practice. She also serves as a clinical psychiatry pharmacy specialist at Guthrie Robert Parker Hospital, where she provides outpatient clinical services with the primary care team. Her professional and research interests include psychiatry, pain management, and substance use disorder, and advocating for these services for patients living in rural and underserved areas.
