Andrea Snyder serves as the skills education associate with the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. With a goal of advancing student educational outcomes, she assists students in skills labs with medical patient simulations designed to provide experiences pharmacists will encounter in the field. Prior to joining the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Snyder worked with Binghamton University’s Services for Students with Disabilities Office. There, she managed the adaptive technology team and facilitated state conference programs and workshops for University staff on disability law and accessibility technology. Snyder served as an adjunct professor of psychology at SUNY Morrisville and has certification as a school psychologist and counselor. In roles with school districts and United Health Services, she designed and facilitated programs for both medical and non-medical personnel on topics including physician-patient communication, cultural competency, leadership skills and conflict resolution.Andrea Snyder, MSed
