The Minor in Political Science has tracks in General Political Science, American Politics, Comparative Politics, and International Relations which consist of:
General Political Science Track
- Six PLSC courses total (24 credits)
- No more than three courses at the lower-level (100s)
American Politics Track
- Six PLSC courses total (24 credits)
- At least four courses from the American Politics Subfield
- No more than three courses at the lower-level
Comparative Politics Track
- Six PLSC courses total (24 credits)
- At least four courses from the Comparative Politics Subfield
- No more than three courses at the lower-level
International Relations Track
- Six PLSC courses total (24 credits)
- At least four courses from the International Relations Subfield
- No more than three courses at the lower-level
*Exceptions to these requirements may be made only with the approval of the Director of Undergraduate Studies.
Notes:
Only courses passed with a grade of C- or better may be counted toward fulfilling the requirements of a Minor in Political Science. No courses taken under the Pass/Fail option may be used to fulfill the minor requirements. At least three courses (12 credits) must be taken in residence at Binghamton University.
