Overloading Policies
Full-time students at Binghamton University take between 12 and 18 credits a semester. Many Scholars will elect to take more courses. When a Scholar would like to do this, they must follow the policies and procedures set forth by each school/college.

First-year Scholars majoring in Computer Science require a course load of 19 credits. Restrictions on credits will be lifted by the Scholars Office and Watson Advising for these students. No action is required of the student in their first semester.
