Dr. Race’s research focuses on trying to better understand the variables that influence eyewitness testimony and confidence, police interactions, and jury perceptions. She has experience in training police on how to enact best practices according to research. Her current research seeks to understand how social and cognitive factors intersect in the highly unique environment of an officer and a witness.
