Background
Ethan Sims is an ABD in Spanish linguistics at the University at Albany, SUNY. His research interests focus on novel sites of language contact, with an emphasis on digital humanities, variationist sociolinguistics, lexical borrowing and popular culture.
He has taught a wide variety of Spanish courses at the University at Albany and the University of Louisiana at Monroe. At Binghamton University, he teaches a variety of Spanish courses in addition to advising undergraduate majors and minors.
