The External Scholarships and Undergraduate Research Center serves the campus by providing our undergraduate population with funding for independent and faculty-mentored undergraduate research experiences, overseeing the Source Project course-based research experiences for first-year students, and advising students interested in becoming involved with research and applying for prestigious external scholarships. We promote undergraduate excellence through these programs and by supporting candidate selection for the SUNY Chancellor’s, President’s, and Provost’s Awards for undergraduate excellence.
