Becoming a Part of DiRT
Students can join as members for as long as they wish, allowing them to work on projects over the course of multiple semesters. During Spring semesters, students are able to take DiRT as a 2-credit class. DiRT may only be taken as a credit-bearing class by students one time.
When to Join
Students may join DiRT at any time! To become a member of the DiRT team, check our Instagram for details about General Interest Meetings (GIMs) at the beginning of each semester and for details about enrolling in the 2-credit class.
What to Expect
Upon joining, students may begin working on an existing research project with other students or create a project of their own. With the guidance of Professor Holahan, students will obtain CITI certification (if applicable) and have the opportunity to research their chosen topics using a variety of different research methods.
For any questions about joining DiRT, please email Professor Rob Holahan at rholahan@binghamton.edu
