Background

Andrea Decker joined the Department of Teaching, Learning and Educational Leadership as Director of Field Education in 2018. Prior to joining the staff at Binghamton University, Andrea was the Director of Education at Roberson Museum and Science Center. She earned her M.S.Ed. in adolescent education from State University of New York at Cortland. Andrea is NYS certified in social studies adolescent education and previously taught high school for five years.

Her role as Director of Field Education primarily includes creating school-university partnerships to ensure clinically rich experiences for our teacher preparation programs, serve as a member of the Clinical Practice Professional Consortium, develop outreach and community engagement opportunities for students and faculty.
