Sue Atkinson joined the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Educational Leadership this academic year as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She was a Lecturer from 2014-2016 and has served as an adjunct lecturer as well. Sue received her undergraduate degree in Child Study from Tufts University and master's degree in early childhood special education from Binghamton University. She has had a long career teaching and supervising programs for infants through high school students, both typically developing children and those with identified special needs. She also worked with families of those students and trained others, always with an emphasis on inclusive teaching practices. Sue received her doctoral degree from Binghamton University in 2014.
