About Us
Baja SAE is a student-led motorsports team that designs, builds and validates an off-road sporting vehicle throughout the school year. Student engineers research vehicle dynamics and use these fundamentals to design the competition vehicle. After performing computational engineering on the vehicle systems, we begin manufacturing the vehicle in the fall semester. The winter is used to finish manufacturing and early electronics testing. Every spring we take the vehicles out for testing and validation. This is done during drive days on rough terrain! Once the vehicle is complete, we compete at various Baja SAE competitions around the country.
How to Join
We accept applications every fall and spring semester from students of any year or major. Join our listserv to keep up-to-date with everything motorsports and to be notified when applications are released!
