The Watson Career Development Essentials micro-credential will provide the opportunity
for Watson College students, alumni, and professionals to develop fundamental skills
that will enhance their career development and increase their employability. Resources
and individual guidance with an expert will be provided for course participants. Upon
completion of the micro-credential, course participants will possess four learning
artifacts, including a professional resume and cover letter, complete LinkedIn profile,
and a critiqued mock interview.

Essentials Micro-Credential Badge:
- Engineering or computer science-specific professional resume
- Cover letter tailored to a position of interest in alignment with the individual’s career goals
- LinkedIn profile complete with a professional headshot, headline, summary, experience and education sections, skills, and plan for developing connections
- Mock interview practice and personalized feedback for improvement
