Front Desk

Membership sales are available in person at the East Gym, Recreation Center front desk or online at recreation.binghamton.edu. The front desk is open during building hours for all transactions, including day passes, locker rentals and swim lesson registration.

Memberships

An All-inclusive Membership or Fitness Membership is required for access to FitSpace and group fitness classes. Faculty and Staff who wish to use Open Recreation hours on weekday afternoons or at any time on the weekends must have a Faculty/Staff Rec Only or All-Inclusive membership.

Once purchased, the fitness membership will be activated on the participant's University or Rec ID card for the upcoming semester.

Lockers and Towels

Locker rentals and towels are available for anyone interested in storing their belongings on site. Locker assignment information will be given to participants on their first visit to the East Gym, Recreation Center.

Day-use lockers are available in the locker rooms for patrons to use while exercising in the East Gym. Day-use lockers must be emptied out each night before closing. Locks can be brought in or purchased at the Front Desk.

Quarter lockers are located on the main level near the vending machines and the lower level near room 24. 

Personal Training and Individual Aquatic Fitness

Campus Recreation offers a variety of individual services, including personal training and individual aquatic fitness.

Wellness Classes and Certifications

Registration at the East Gym, Recreation Center Front Desk is required in advance for each wellness class, certification, swim lesson or other fee-based activity in order to participate. Online registration is available for wellness classes and certifications. No registrations will be taken at the time of the program or at the program location. These classes and activities require a registration fee in order to participate.

Day Passes

Day passes are available for purchase by anyone 18 years of age and older with a valid photo ID. There are no refunds on day passes; however, the face value of pass ($8) can be redeemed on any semester or longer membership purchase. You may redeem only one pass per membership. Cannot be combined with any other discount. Day pass membership discounts expire one year from date issued.

Parking on campus requires a permit or use of a metered spot. Paid parking options are also available in the parking garage, visitors lot and metered spaces. Visit Transportation and Parking Services for more information.
