The Cytek Aurora uses full spectrum flow cytometry and detects entire fluorochrome emission spectrum.
This enables the resolution of fluorophores that are highly overlapped and cannot
be resolved by the conventional flow cytometry. Combinations like APC and Alexa Fluor
647 can be clearly resolved, even if the populations are co-expressed. The cell sorter
has the following features.
- Full Spectrum Profiling (FSP) technology that improves data clarity and resolution with autofluorescence extraction

- Five lasers: 355, 405, 488, 561 and 640 nm

- Sample input formats: 12 x 75 mm or 15 mL tube with sample mixing
- Sort output formats: 2- way sorting in 15 mL tube; up to 6-way sorting in 5 mL or 1.5 mL tubes; 96-well and 384-well plate with index sorting; custom plate options
- Temperature control: 4 to 37 oC for both sample input and output
- Spectroflo CS software for live unmixing during acquisition and sorting, autofluorescence extraction
