At Binghamton, you don't have to major in fine arts to experience music theater and art or to showcase your talent! The Department of Music presents more than 100 concerts each year, and most of them are free. No matter your major, you can participate in music classes, ensembles and lessons. All students may audition or be part of a crew for any of the Mainstage productions in the Department of Theatre. And Binghamton offers classes in drawing, painting, sculpting, printmaking and graphic design. Student artists also hold exhibitions and showcases at the Binghamton University Art Museum, which houses about 3,500 objects from all major periods of history.
