CTAC invites professors from Binghamton University, SUNY to give lectures on Chinese music, Beijing opera, and Chinese culture. The lectures include but not limited to:
The Art of Beijing Opera
Professor Linghui Tu, a national Tier 1 performer and professor of the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts in Beijing, China. She will introduce the performing arts of Beijing Opera, including costumes, masks, props, singing, reciting, acting, combat, and the use of costumes and props.

Chinese Ethic Groups and their Songs
Professor Hong Zhang, former soloist of the Shanghai Orchestra, is now a tenured instructor of Chinese and an associate faculty member of the Music Department at Binghamton Univeristy, SUNY. She will introduce the unique cultures of different ethic groups in China and sing sample ethic songs. She has presented lectures in dozens of countries.

A Confucian Confusion: What the Sage Says and What the Mean Means
In addition to his many articles, Professor Zu-Yan Chen is the author of seven books. He currently serves as a Board member of the Distinguished Academy of the State University of New York and works as Editor-in-Chief of TheaComm: An E-Journal of Theater Arts Communication. Chen is a sought-after speaker and has lectured at dozens of universities in the U.S. and China.
