Graduate teaching assistants (GTAs) play a vital role in the success of the first-year engineering program at Watson College.
Coming from diverse engineering departments, they bring specialized knowledge, practical experience, and mentorship to the program. GTAs help bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and hands-on application, guiding students through foundational engineering practices. Further, they provide the students with support and advice as they navigate the challenges of their first year at Binghamton University. Their involvement not only enhances the learning experience for first-year students but also fosters collaboration and critical thinking, setting a strong foundation for students’ future academic and professional success.
