There are many different programs available to assist families in meeting the cost of higher education. Although every family’s resources may be different, a financial aid offer will be provided if a FAFSA is filed.Based on individual eligibility, the offer may consist of federal student loans only or a combination of other funds such as grants, scholarships, NYS aid, loans, and/or federal work-study.
Aid is also available for education abroad and winter/summer sessions.
Basic responsibility for financing higher education rests with students and their families; financial aid is offered to supplement the family's maximum financial effort.
If you are a veteran or a child of a veteran, additional funding information can be found on the Office of Veteran and Military Services website.
