Harpur Academic Advising is home to general academic advising for Harpur College undergraduate students, as well as Pre-Health and Pre-Law Advising. A Harpur student's advising team is made up of both Harpur Academic Advising for general advising, and faculty/departmental advisor(s) for in-depth and specialized major planning. From Orientation to Commencement and beyond, we are here to help our students make informed decisions, understand academic policies, prepare for post-graduation opportunities, and connect our students with valuable campus resources that offer academic and personal support.

Appointments
- New Spring '25 students: Check your BU email for a special meeting invitation from your advisor and read through our New Student Site. Meetings are set aside just for you between December 9 - 20 and January 6 -15. Do not delay in scheduling your advising & registration appointment!
- All other students:
Harpur Advising is available for 30 minute same day appointments between 12pm - 3:30pm. Morning appointments can be scheduled up to 2 days in advance. You can schedule by calling 607-777-6305 or on B-Successful.
Drop-ins (will resume 1/17)
- General Advising (110) and Biology Advising (G51):
Monday - Friday from 2 - 4pm - Environmental Studies (110):
Thursdays from 1 - 4pm - Drop-ins are first come, first served and cannot be scheduled through B-Successful or over the phone.

Don't see any available appointments?
We release appointments two days in advance. Because we are closed over the weekend,
Monday appointments release each Saturday and Tuesday appointments release each Sunday.
When appointments are booked for the upcoming two days, our calendar will appear as
if we don't have any available appointments for the rest of the semester. Check back
often for newly released appointments!
