In life-threatening emergencies, call 911, call Harpur's Ferry at 607-777-3333 (campus emergency squad) or go directly to the nearest hospital emergency department.

Services

The DSHSC delivers medical care to all registered in-person students at Binghamton University. We deliver the same type of care you would expect to get from your primary care physician. The mandatory student health fee entitles you to visit the center at no charge for your health care needs. The student health fee doesn't cover some optional services. See the Free or Fee breakdown or contact us for more information.

Health insurance

Health insurance is required for all full-time, domestic undergraduate students. Domestic students are automatically enrolled in the health insurance offered through the University unless the waive-out steps are completed. Plan highlights, coverage details and other information can be found online.

Health insurance is also required for all international students (undergraduate and graduate). Information regarding international student health insurance can be found on the Office of International Student & Scholar Services website.
