About AACES

AACES has facilities in multiple locations has extensive state of the art research equipment and facilities, as well as access to various clinical populations. Training is focused upon developing excellent clinical and research skills as these are seen as both necessary and mutually enhancing. Research emphasizes both basic and applied questions, as well as dissemination to professional and lay audiences. 

AACES is primarily housed within Science IV within the Department of Psychology on Binghamton University's main campus. Dr. Gillis Mattson and Dr. Romanczyk co-direct AACES and all research-related activities at AACES.

AACES afford many opportunities for students throughout their undergraduate and graduate training that are unique and contribute to professional, research and clinical training in a number of areas.
